For everyone

Money is one way.
Here are seven more.

In a world without waste, everyone is included. So whatever you arrive with, money, something to swap, your time, or nothing at all, there is a way for you here.

Find the line below that sounds like you. Each one ends with what to do next.

The eight ways

01 · Buy

Cash is queen!

"I see value, and I have money to spend."

Timber, frames, prints, art and craft material, and a very long room full of things you did not know you needed.

Pay at the counter, or from home.

02 · Bargain

We love to bargain.

"The price is too high, so I would like to make an offer."

No harm in making an offer we cannot refuse!

Our All Sorts room is a very long room full of quality things, from party goods to dolls, toys, fabric and leather, all waiting for you to bargain with us.

03 · Bid

Always something to bid on.

"I would like to make a bid."

Our reverse auction: Snooze You Lose.

A stack of timber goes out on Monday at half price. Every day the price drops by another 10%. Buy it whenever the price is right for you, but if you wait, someone else may take it first. On Saturday, whatever is left is free.

There are also a few special pieces out for bidding when you visit. Ask at the counter which ones this week.

04 · Barter

What have you got that we want?

"I have something you might want, and I would like to swap it for something of yours."

We are listening.

There is a little paperwork, so that we can consider your offer properly.

05 · Benefit

Everyone is important in a world without waste.

"I have no money or resources to offer, but you have something that would help me."

Start a conversation. We will help you discover that you have your own abundance to share.

And yes, on the right occasion, we do give without cost.

06 · Borrow

Our buy-back is very simple.

"I need something for a short time, and have no use for it after that."

Pay for your item in full. When you bring it back, we agree a voucher credit for it.

07 · Brainstorm

Exchange your energy.

"I can offer my ideas, skills and energy in exchange for something you have that I want."

We have been exchanging energy with people for many years. It is a very good way to work.

Join the family and start the conversation: "I would like to exchange my energy for…"

08 · Bequeath

Make space for abundance to step in.

"I have a useful thing I no longer need, and I would like you to have it, free."

Bring it to us, and it will go on to good work.

"Talk to us, and help us find the way forward on new and exciting ways to give and receive."

And then, belong.

Two more ways are not transactions at all. Belong: join a different way of living in the world. Be: be accepted for who you are. Both begin with joining the family, and it is free.
